Ok, so everyone look at the title of the post? Just a bunch of jibberish, right? Well, here is the story. I come back from Barcelona, which was awesome. More on that later, and my computer is working fine for about 3 or 4 hours. Then all of a sudden, the keyboard no longer is working. Actually, it's working, but with out me touching it. All of a sudden it just starts going, "ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo....." And only the bottom row of keys work now, so if I can come up with words that contain, zxcvbnm, we can have a conversation online. Any idea's Kutko? Besides that, I'm stuck with no keyboard for the next two weeks here.

Ok, so back to barcelona. The weather there was awesome, well maybe a little two awesome. After the first day of sitting on the beach, I take a look at my legs, which are in pain. Turns out I got a little case of sun posioning. So yea, that sucked, but oh well, didn't hurt too bad. To make sure the same thing didn't happen again, I was to the local pharmacy in search for some sun screen. And I wanted the strong stuff, like SPF 3000, but I had to settle from SPF 40, which for this little tiny bottle cost me 11 euro, stupid american's not knowing how strong the sun is. So besides coming back a little tan/burned, Spain in sick. The nightlife there is crazy, people don't start going out until midnight or later. Us Londoners had enough trouble staying up till past 3 there. But we did encounter a cool shot bar, all the shots were a euro fifty each, except a few. One of which is the "Monica Lewbinski". There is a story to go along with the shot, but I can't put it on the blog, it just doesn't do it justice without seeing the pictures to go along with it. Or you can ask Scott about it, sorry pal. The hostel's in Spain were also a little weird, we woke up to techno music blaring every music, and you ask why we could hear it in our room? Well it is because the walls didn't go up to the ceiling, if you stood on the ladder to doug's "bed" you could see everyone room on our floor. "bed" was in quotes because Doug's bed was atleast a good 12 feet off the ground in this little alcove. He needed oxygen his bed was so high up there. Ok, so left Spain came back to England, computer broke. We have these tests next week, I think they are finals I'm not really sure, I'll have to ask one of the "degree students"here, we "study abroads" don't have anything on the "d.s.'s". (for those out of the loop on Richmond news, it turns out all the degree sutdents here hate all the study abroads. Maybe it is because they go to shitty school and take shitty classes? Maybe it is because aren't smart enough to go to school in the states, not really sure. But man, do they hate us STAB's (study abroads). You should see the article where they compare us to ants and roaches. I'll bring a copy home with me.)

That pretty much sums up the last week or so. I will be back home two weeks from today. Crazy how the semester flew. Plans for this summer? Summer school, 8AM, Monday and Wednesday's! Nice dude! blah blah. ok, hope everyone has a good time with finals. for all the IU kids, hope little 5 was good, I heard naughty by nature was awesome, right.....no sarcasam there or anything. See everyone in a few weeks, if you want anything from England send me an email, I won't answer because I can't type anything, but I'll still see the email.

Thanks to doug for letting me use his computer, well thanks to doug for being out to dinner so I can use his computer.

April 1st

Hello all,

I haven't updated this in awhile, so I thought I would give it a go. My mom, dad, and sister were here last week. We saw all the sights around London, and then went to Paris for a few days. I liked Paris, people there aren't as rude as all americans think. Got back here last Friday, and the fam left of Saturday. Then this week we had monday off of school because of a bank holiday. Some of you may be asking what a "bank holiday" is, well I have no clue. But it was nice only have a two days of classes.

So on Tuesday we got on the tube and went to see the WImbledon Tennis center. It was kinda cool, we got to see center court. Well I thought it would be cool to get a Wimbledon tennis ball, so I asked the lady if they had any for sale. She said they were out and didn't know where they were getting more in, she was actually a bitch with an attitude. But I didn't let get me down. So we walked down the street and found a tennis shop that had the tennis balls! On the outside of the can there is a picture of a brand new slazenger Wimbledon Ultra VIS tennis ball. Now, don't you think that the picture would be what was on the tennis balls in the can? Yea, we thought that too. Turns out nope, they are just normal tennis balls. So the me and three people I split the can with were pretty pissed. We payed 9 pounds for some stupid ordinary tennis ball. We will be sending an email to Slazenger to make them send us real Wimbledon tennis balls. Stupid false advertising assholes. Ok, this story makes me mad to repeat so I will stop now.

Ben and Schneidy get here today for the weekend, so that should be fun. Dougs parents took me and Marc out for a good dinner last night, thank you Berger family. I went to a picnic in the park today with all my friends, that was fun. Played catch with a rugby ball, Shira dropped it alot, and Chelsea just ran away from the ball alot. Then Shira taught us some stupid game. If you ever want to learn a stupid camp game that just makes you frustrated because you can't figure it out, talk to Shira. Ok, this was a good talk, I'll see you out there.

cheers

Monday

My Mom and my sister got here yesterday, my dad today. Long story, don't ask. So it's been nice seeing them and having them pay for things. You would be surprised how many times a person can go to an ATM in a week. I think I set a new record.

Growe, Spector, and Michelle were here for thier spring break. It was a good time, and nice to hang out with people from home. Growe was his normal goofy self, Spector bought alot of football (soccer) jerseys, because is what Speefer does, and Michelle, well she hung out with Doug because that is what michelle does.

Hope everything is going good back in the states. I'm going to Paris on Thursday with the fam. Hope everyone is having/had a good spring break.

cheers.

Spring Break: Italian Style

Well, I'm not even sure where to begin this. I could probally write 5 pages on this last week, but I won't since no one besides my parents will read it. The past 10 days in Italy was amazing. We went to Rome, Venice, and Florence. I'll try to split this up by section with the highlights of the trip.

Rome:

Got to Rome on Wednesday night, and found our hostel, "Guy's Paradise". Now I know what you all are thinking, but no, it was not a guy only hostel. Once we got there they gave us all free beer and free dinner. So that was nice. That night we went out but were all a little tired, so we called it an early night. The weird thing is that we didn't have a room key for our room. So Scott came up with the idea to stack the beer cans, so if anyone came in, we would hear them. So I went to sleep, and not more than 5 minutes after going to sleep. We all hear the cans come crashing down. Scott jumped out of bed, and stopped this sketchy dude from coming in our room. He insisted that he and the 10 sweaters he was wearing we're staying in our room, and that the bed I was sleeping in was his. Scott finally convinced him it wasn't his room and he left. The next morning we were up early and got to see the colosseum, which was awesome. Pictures on shutter fly, but they don't do it justice. We also went to the Vatican city where the Pope hangs out. The weather one day sucked, and we missed the Sistine Chapel being open by like 20 minutes. So we went back the next day, met up with some people in London and had an awesome time. The Sistine chapel is really awesome, the ceiling is just amazing to sit and stare at. I got some pictures of it, but had to be pretty sneaky about it, since they yell at you for taking pictures. So, they came out so so. Also climbed up the 320 stairs to the top of St. Peters basilica. It's really 520 stairs but the guy let us take the elevator up. Saw a bunch of other stuff, but it will take too long to write about them, look at the pictures, you'll get the idea.

Venice:

Venice was my favorite city that I have been to in all of Europe. It was amazing, it was exactly what we needed. We stayed in this realy nice hostel/hotel. We had a huge room for the 6 of us, and no bunk beds which was a nice change. The weather was perfect for the whole time we were there, all three days. We walked around the city, rode on the canals, saw a few sights, and ate some good food. Thanks to Scott, we went out for a 50 euro dinner. It should have been 100 euro's a person, but Scott knew this guy named, Cha Cha. No joke, that's his name, and he wears bright yellow pants. So the dinner was good, Scott and Taz ate enough fish that buy the end of the night they had gills. Me? I stuck with pasta and steak, I know, typical. Not a bad meal at all. The next day we walked around some more, and then got on a train to Florence.

Florence:

When we got to Florence, none other than Ben Cherry met us at the train station. It was great to see guys from school, Ben, Coach, Jacobs, Tony, Kiss, Mookie Cookie. We walked around the city alot, and went to the Prada outlets, where I picked up a tie, and some things for my mom and sister. No hints here shelbs, wait till you get here. Then we went to this place called the mall. It it a outlet mall with all the major desingers. Everyone from Armani to Gucci, was there. I got an awesome wallet from Armani, so that was fun. Because they were far away, we hired a taxi for the day, and all day we had conversations with the driver, and he didn't speak english, so that was an experience. We went out with the guys from school, met some real cool people. Which include Katie, from GW, who let us sleep on her couch and couch coushins. Other than that we went to go see Michalenglo's statue of David. The thing is huge, got some good pictures, even though we aren't allowed to take picture of it.

Post Spring Break:

On Friday we flew back to London, where we were supposed to pick up Michelle, Growe Growe, and Spector from the airport. But there flight cancelled and didn't end up getting here till this morning. It's nice that they are here and should be a fun week. Next week the fam comes, also looking forward to that. Ok, I left alot of stuff out of this, so IM me if you want to hear about anything we didn.

Spring Break

Ok, the time has come we're all been waiting for. A vacation.....as if I hadn't been on one since January. Well anyways, we are leaving for Italy today. Rome to Venice to Florence, a total of 9 days. What stressful lives we live here in jolly ol' England. Can't wait for Florence when we see a bunch of friends from school, Bob and Da Coach in particular. Ok time to finish packing, Growe Spector and Michelle, come the day we get back from Italia. This is gonna be a crazy few weeks. Ok peace out.

cheers

Quizno's??

So tonight Doug, Lee, and I decided we would take the tube up a few stops so Doug could take care of his Quizno's deprevation he's been going through. So when we first get to the tube, we find out that the train line we need isnt running all night, so we have to take another, and then transfer to two different train lines to finally get to Quizno's. At this point, all doug can think about is a turkey sandwhich, yes a little weird, I know. So once we walk out of the tube, we start our treck to Quizno's, after a 15 minute walk, we finally see it. With a huge lit up sign, "Quizno's"!!! And then we look in the window, CLOSED! Yep, thats right, all the way to Quizno's and the stupid thing was closed. Doug cried. Well not really, but ok. But he was a pretty pissed off, and I'm sure he will drag me back their sometime soon, and this time before 7 PM. Isn't that a little early for a sandwhich place to be closing? Crazy british folk. Ok, that is all, night everyone.

Windsor

So yesterday we took the train over to the town of Windsor where the Queen and the Royal Family have their castle. And it's one hell of a castle. It's huge, we couldn't even get through the whole thing because we ran out of time. So that was cool, I was supposed to go see the changing of the guards this morning, but I've been sick for the last few days and didn't feel good when we woke up, so I went back to sleep. So i'm spending the day today watching some movies and resting so I can get over this cold before we leave for Italy for 10 at the beginning of March. Hope everything is having fun at home.
